Amnuay Silpa School, Year 9 - Problem Solving and Innovation Camp
Over 60 students from Amnuay Silpa School, Year 9, came to The Howling Gibbon Outdoor Education Centre for 4 days and 3 nights.
The concept of the camp was "Problem Solving and Innovation." The students were challenged to develop these skills through a range of team building activities and challenges including designing and building a raft and racing in the swimming pool within teams. The students were also pushed out of their comfort zones as they trekked deep in the jungle of Khao Yai National Park and kayaked on the Lamtakhong Reservoir.
While jungle trekking, we were really fortunate to see a family of white-handed gibbons swinging through the trees, as well as a green pit viper and a handful of golden orb spiders with beautiful webs spread between the foliage.
Overall, a fun and exciting adventure with lots of new challenges for all!
